Ladder Strategy: It is a common knowledge that all stocks, within a given sector or segment or around a theme do not provide buying opportunities on the same day or same month or even same year (at times), Accordingly, we follow a Ladder Strategy, wherein, the stocks that fall (as per our assessment) into 'buy zone' get gradually added to this Smallcase in systematic way and in a opportunistic way. Till then, the balance funds (out of the minimum investment amount specified for this Smallcase by the Smallcase Manager) would be parked in Liquid Bees (ETFs) and as and when another stock is identified for addition to the Smallcase Portfolio, a part of the money (so parked in the Liquid Bees) would be allocated to such identified stock through Re-balancing advise. Research: All publicly traded companies on the National Stock Exchange of India are included in the universe and a select few stocks are filtered based on factors such as ROCE, earnings growth, competitive position etc. for further analysis. Fundamental &amp; Technical Analysis: Both these analyses would be carried out for assessing their attractiveness to the Smallcase Basket. Market Entry: This forms a crucial part of our Analysis and factors such as the depth of correction etc., play a role in assessing its attractiveness for its addition to the Smallcase Portfolio, in an opportunistic fashion. Accordingly, rebalancing is attempted on a need-basis.
