Private and Public sector banks are key stakeholders in providing the financing for growth. On one side they provide funds for infrastructure development and on the other side they support consumption. While India take on a large investment drive of more than 200 lac crore in a mix of greenfield and brownfield initiatives, banks are well positioned to support this mega expansion with strong balance sheets, improving financial ratios and strong digital infrastructure.
