Believe in Alpha Generation and not Allocation

We believe in investing with an endeavor to generate alpha over the markets than just allocation within the benchmark index. Alpha via companies where profit growth is higher than the market average and/or value companies which are underpriced and have reasonable growth expectations or some triggers. We also believe in betting on Indian entrepreneurs and companies, which have scalable business models with potential of becoming large caps over the medium term.

Focus on Fundamentals

We only follow fundamentals driven bottom-up stock selection approach with focus on Balance Sheet. Our experience and belief is that numbers speak more than presentations and hype and returns are ultimately all about earnings.

Independent Thought Process

Backed by large and experienced investment team, our focus is to do primary research and follow our independent investment thesis in a disciplined manner. We do not get carried away by market views and peer / management talks.

We evaluate each investment opportunity on its individual merit and are not constrained to a particular theme or style. Each strategy is constantly monitored and we are quick to act.

We focus on having a favorable risk reward equation, investing only if the return expectation justifies the risk taken. We believe that a good company might not necessarily be a good investment. Hence, we focus on the price we pay, and value derived from it.
