Formula Used for the Axis SIP Calculator
The calculator uses a global standardisation method to calculate the total returns you have incurred on your SIP in Axis Bank SIP. The Axis monthly SIP calculator formula is as follows:
A = P*((1+i)^n)-1)/i)*(1+i)
The variables in this equation represent the following:
A | Amount received by you |
P | SIP Amount |
i | Compounded rate of return |
n | Number of months |
Let’s take an example. Suppose an investor decides to invest in SIP of Rs. 10,000 for a year at a return rate of 12%
Amount invested = ₹ 1,20,000
Expected return rate amount = ₹ 1,28,093
Interest Earned = ₹ 8,093
Given below is a table of projected SIP investment returns for various tenures at an expected return rate of 12%. Their maturity values have been calculated using the Axis Bank SIP calculator:
Duration | Amount Invested Monthly | Maturity Value |
1 year | 10,000 | ₹1,28,093 |
5 years | 10,000 | ₹8,24,864 |
8 years | 10,000 | ₹16,15,266 |
10 years | 10,000 | ₹23,23,391 |
12 years | 10,000 | ₹32,22,522 |
15 years | 10,000 | ₹50,45,760 |
